This is one of the most desirable of all 57 Thunderbirds to own. It is known as the "Special" or "E Bird" and came with two Holley four-barrel carburetors raising the horsepower to 270 at 4,800 RPM, from a 312 cubic inch V8. These cars have to be the most recognizable Thunderbird model of all time.

Being the last year for the small Thunderbirds and considered by many to be the best of the breed. Slightly bigger than the earlier cars that gives a bit more driver room.
